海を見下ろす高台に建つプライベートヴィラのプロモーション映像

沖縄県今帰仁村。海が見える高台に建つ一棟貸の宿。春先のオープンに向けてプロモーション動画をご依頼いただいた。
寝室、キッチン、リビング、浴室など機能を持った小さな空間が自然豊かな半屋外空間でつながっている。

Small spaces with functions such as bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom are connected by a semi-outdoor space in nature.

暑い日は暑いし、寒い日は寒い。雨が降れば濡れてしまう場所もある。だからこそ影が作り出す涼しさや、暖炉の火の暖かさ、抜ける風の涼しさや雨音の豊かさを存分に感じことができる。

On hot days, it feels hot, and on cold days, it feels cold. When it rains, some places get wet. That is why you can fully feel the coolness created by the shadows, the warmth of the fireplace, the coolness of the breeze, and the richness of the sound of rain.

撮影を行なった１月の沖縄は例年天気があまり良くないようで、滞在中は雲に覆われている時間が長かった。途中雨が降ったり風が強かったり、ほんの少しの晴れ間があったり。刻一刻と変化する天気とともにシーンを構成していった。

The weather in Okinawa in January is usually not so good, and we spent a lot of time covered in clouds during our stay. It rained, it was windy, and sometimes it was just a little sunny. I created a scene with the ever-changing weather.

晴れていれば満点の星空が見えるという奥行きのある浴室空間。開口から吹いてくる風が顔を撫で、お湯の流れる音と風の音が耳に心地よかった。

The bathroom is deep enough to see the starry sky when it is clear. The breeze blowing through the opening caressed my face, and the sound of the flowing water and wind was pleasant to my ears.

空間には厳選された家具や本が置かれ、椅子に座り、移り変わる空と海を眺めているだけで、癒される。
「いつも快適とはいかないけれど、自然環境に合わせた過ごし方をしてもらいたい」とのオーナー様の思いを映像で表現することを試みた。

The furniture and books that the owner had carefully selected were placed there, and just sitting in the chair looking at the sky and the sea was soothing.
The owner says, “I want people to spend time with nature, even though it’s not always comfortable,” and I tried to express his thoughts in the video.

一度訪れたら、もう一度戻りたくなる場所。肩の力が抜け、自然体になれる場所。
